There are two ways to verify Flexform’s UL certification-
- UL Product iQ – UL maintains a public database at iq.ul.com where you can search by manufacturer name or UL file number to see all certified constructions, their scope and current status. Flexform’s file numbers are listed in the Compliance section of our website.
- Cable Marking – UL-certified cables carry the UL mark directly on the cable jacket or on a label attached to the reel. For cables certified to both US and Canadian standards, the mark appears as cULus. The marking also includes the cord type designation, voltage rating, conductor size and temperature rating all of which must match the relevant UL 62 construction. If you are importing Flexform Cable into the US and need documentation for customs or a local inspector, we can provide the relevant UL file number and certification as part of our standard trade documentation.
This, however does not extend to Braided Twisted Flexes. Although we produce the product with UL cores. This does not imply certification of the consiruction for use as an appliance cord.
